SEO LEAD

About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven SEO Lead to take full ownership of our organic search strategy, leveraging AI-enhanced tools and automation to drive exponential growth across Fella & Delilah.
You will work closely with our Head of Growth to develop and execute an innovative SEO strategy that spans technical SEO, AI-powered content generation, and link acquisition. This role requires a deep understanding of both traditional SEO principles and emerging AI technologies to maximize efficiency and impact.
As SEO Lead, you’ll be responsible for scaling SEO efforts across multiple platforms—including Google, Reddit, and YouTube—ensuring our content ranks highly and engages users wherever they are searching. You will also begin to build and lead an SEO team, creating scalable processes that combine human expertise with AI-driven automation.
This is a full-time remote role reporting to our Head of Growth (Dave Lane) while collaborating with the Engineering, Content, and Product teams.

Your responsibilities will include
1. SEO Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a comprehensive search visibility strategy across Google, Reddit, and YouTube.
Prioritize Google and Reddit optimization initially, with a long-term plan for expanding to other platforms.
Implement cross-platform SEO strategies to maximize organic reach and engagement.
Build an AI-powered content strategy that enhances keyword clustering, content creation, and real-time optimization.
2. AI-Enhanced Content & Technical SEO
Use AI tools for predictive analysis, automated audits, and real-time optimizations.
Leverage AI-powered keyword research and clustering to drive scalable content creation.
Implement AI-driven optimization frameworks to continuously improve content performance.
Develop platform-specific SEO strategies to dominate search rankings across multiple channels.
3. Link Acquisition & Digital PR
Deploy AI tools for competitor analysis and backlink opportunity identification.
Create automated yet personalized outreach systems for link acquisition.
Build scalable digital PR strategies to enhance authority and domain strength.
Track and optimize link quality, ensuring long-term sustainability of SEO efforts.
4. Scaling & Team Building
Start building a high-performance SEO team, hiring specialists across technical SEO, content, and link building.
Establish a culture of AI-driven innovation within the team.
Implement processes that maximize efficiency through automation while maintaining a high-quality human touch.
Develop training programs that blend traditional SEO with AI capabilities.

We are looking for an SEO Lead who
1. Has 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong track record of driving significant organic growth.
2. English level C1 onwards (exclusive)
3. Possesses deep expertise in technical SEO, with experience implementing large-scale optimizations.
4. Has a strong understanding of AI applications in SEO, leveraging automation for content generation, technical audits, and link building.
5. Demonstrates data-driven decision-making skills, with expertise in analytics, tracking, and performance measurement.
6. Has experience building and leading high-performing SEO teams, mentoring team members, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
7. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Nice to Have
- Experience with AI model training or development for SEO applications.
- Background in direct-to-consumer healthcare or subscription-based business models.
- Experience with international SEO, optimizing sites for multiple markets and languages.
- A product mindset, understanding how SEO integrates with product development and UX.
- Prior startup experience, with a history of building SEO functions from the ground up.
